Who I Am

Before beginning my therapy journey, I was deep in the world of computer programming research, trying to code my way into feeling fulfilled.

I got burnt out from my programming job and quit working for a year. I felt very lost during this period, and guilty that I had failed. I started volunteering on the 988 Lifeline which deeply changed my life. The next three years were spent in various roles at the Crisis Center and doing my own personal therapy.

What I eventually learned (and what I now help clients explore) is that real progress doesn’t come from working harder, it comes from understanding your inner world, learning to manage uncertainty, and reconnecting with what actually matters to you.

That experience changed my path and led me to becoming a therapist, where I now help others navigate uncertainty, reconnect with themselves, and build lives that feel authentic and fulfilling.

My Approach

I draw from evidence-based approaches such as:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Parts work (Internal Family Systems).

My goal isn’t for you to be in therapy forever. My role is to help you build the insight and skills to thrive in your everyday life.

Here’s what I want you to walk away with:

• Confidence — knowing you can handle challenges as they arise

• Clarity — understanding your values and what truly matters to you

• Skills — tools to manage anxiety, mood, self-control and motivation when life gets stressful

Whether we’re working on managing anxiety, building confidence, or finding more balance with self-control and daily stress, I aim to create a space where you can explore, grow, and reconnect with yourself at your own pace.

A Little More About Me

Outside of therapy I am pretty calm and quiet. Some of my favorite moments are reading with my dog curled up next to me or doing a puzzle, (especially Harry Potter themed ones). I also love rock climbing as it helps me clear my head and stay grounded.
